T rying to satiate your strawberry cravings? Look no further. As with the following recipes you'll be able to effortlessly whip up some must-try strawberry desserts in the privacy of your own home. Two of the tastiest and healthiest strawberry desserts recipes are presented below for your delectation and ease.

Strawberries, Cream Cheese, Cream, Gelatine, Cookie crumbs, butter, salt and vanilla

  3. Making a cookie crust is as easy as sprinkling the cookies with salt and melting the butter.

  5. Adding the cream cheese is all that is required now. As you beat the cream and cheese, add some sugar and mix it until it is light and airy.
  6. Pour in the cream cheese mixture on the base.
  7. Now, Pour the strawberry gelatine over the top and fold it in.
  8. Just wait patiently until it dries out.

2. Strawberry ShortCake

If you have the time and patience, this "from scratch" cake recipe is well worth the effort. A shortcake cake, not individual biscuits, is what you'll find here.

Its texture is more like that of a biscuit than a sponge cake. Because of this, the layers are able to stand up to the luscious strawberries in a way that strawberry shortcake is supposed to.

Ingredients:

For the Shortcake

  1. a quarter cup of granulated sugar
  2. 1 3/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  3. a half cup of vegetable shortening
  4. a third of a cup milk
  5. 1 big egg
  6. 1 tbsp. baking soda
  7. 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  8. salt to taste (about 3/4 teaspoon)

For the Toppings/Filling

  1. 2 pound strawberries, cut in half
  2. a third of a cup granulated sugar
  3. 4 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
  4. 2 cups of heavy whipped cream (optional)
  5. 1 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

You'll Also Need a Few Things

  1. Bowls for combining ingredients
  2. A hand mixer or electric beater.
  3. Knife used for slicing bread
  4. Cups and spoons for weighing and measuring

Recipe:

  1. Add 1/4 cup sugar to a medium-sized bowl and mix in the flour, milk, shortening,  and egg as well as the lemon zest,  baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mixture should be fully blended and form a soft dough using a medium-speed mixer.
  3. Evenly distribute the dough in the buttered cake pan (it will be sticky and not pourable).
  4. Then bake for a further 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Set aside six to eight of the best-looking berries while the shortcake is baking
  6. Remove the hulls from the remaining berries and wash them.
  7. Divvy up the fruit into four halves.
  8. Sugar is poured over strawberries and whipped cream is mixed in.
  9. Add 1/3 cup of sugar to the sliced strawberries and mash gently. Strawberry shortcake filling wouldn't be the same without it!
  10. To make medium-soft peaks, whip the thick cream and sugar together until well-combined. Firm, but not too stiff. Dispose off if it’s not the right texture.
  11. Turn out of the oven and onto a serving dish or cutting board.
  12. Slice the hot shortcake horizontally with a bread knife. Non-flavored dental floss is also an option!
  13. Softened butter should be applied to both halves of the cake.
  14. pour butter on the cake layer
  15. On the bottom half of the cake, spread half of the macerated strawberry mixture.
  16. 1/2 of the cream should be spread on top of the strawberry layer.
  17. Spread the leftover caramelized strawberry mixture well over top of the second half of the cake and the top half of the cake.
  18. Spread the rest of the whipped cream on top of the strawberries that have been macerated.
  19. Use the reserved strawberries as a garnish
